    Count to 1000!

Just a silly thing I used to do on forums. Each reply will be one number above the previous reply. Let's see if we can get to 1000! Conversation is also welcomed. Getting to 1000 will be a community accomplishment and if we make some friends along the way that would be awesome. I'll start with 1! cx (If this is against the rules or spams the activity feed too much, feel free to delete the topic. This is just something I did back in the day and I thought it would be fun to do here.)
  2. Seriously. They're the first lines that stick out to me when I try to sing the song from memory!
  3. "Homeless ain't nothing child" We originally thought that it said "Holmes is a naughty child" speculating that Holmes was the first name of the detective. But in context of the song what I just wrote seems more correct. Anyone have any thoughts on this before I edit the lyrics again? Upon repeated listens I think it is the former, but I'd love to hear what you all think.
  4. Thanks for the suggestions! Sometimes I think the words in the chorus change slightly so i'll make sure I got back and edit those when I have the time to give the song a listen a few more times.
  5. Lyrics!! (Subject to change) Special thanks to Doctor and Cy for helping me try to figure these out. The second line is pretty close to accurate now, but we would love to hear any suggestions! Help us figure it out 100% please EDIT: I took in the suggestions from Unlocked, Iridescence, and Blackeyefaltip to create a more accurate version of the lyrics. I also changed a lot of the inconsistent wording In the chorus. Thank you all for the suggestions! (For the second line I think ...boy from its old age is confirmed from static, so I'm gonna keep it like that) Clues to a Poor Man’s Briefcase Lyrics There's a note on the floor with a briefcase Note this fuse goes through the boy from its old age Briefcase is locked, Contents Unknown, They wrote... But Daddy, Daddy was a good, good gentleman, This Ally, Ally was home home without a bed. Holme is a naughty child, Rich are the hearts that smile. I try to be the perfect child, But it's hard to be, Life is often wild And the kids are mean! We still bathe twice a month, Don’t call me greasy. This heart that you gave me, Is strong enough. This path that you paved for me, Has made me tough. I hope you forgave me, For all my doubts, This life we’ve made, Is worth the ups and down. One more time for the sake of God I swear, I’ll give the best I've got I won’t let things keep(a) me down, Oh no~ No One more time for the sake of love I know that I was strong enough, This life, This Soul, was made for good For gooood~ Yeah! I still remember taking showers in the bathrooms at school, “Sorry about the mess, Also thank you for the sink.” He offered you a job that day, Did you know his face? Did you know that we would become like slaves (Slaves to the mafia) This place ain’t good for ya. Remember when you bought those notes, For you and me, I won’t forget what they mean. How you signaled to show your sympathy This heart that you gave me (This heart that you gave me) Is strong enough (Is strong enough) This path that you paved for me has made me tough (This path that you paved me has made me tough) I hoped you forgave me for all my doubts(I hoped you forgave me for all my doubts) This life we’ve made is worth the ups and downs, One more time for the sake of God I swear, I’ll give the best I've got I won’t let things keep(a) me down, Oh no~ No, One more time for the sake of love I know that I was strong enough, This life, This Soul, was made for good For goood~ One more time for the sake of God I swear, I’ll give the best I've got I won’t let things keep(a) me down, Oh no~ No, One more time for the sake of love I know that I was strong enough, This life, This Soul, was made for good But I remember some nights, In the upright! The little gang fights, You would comfort me with protection, (Uh oh, uh, uh, uh, uh oh) Brother, Thank you. (Uh oh, uh, uh, uh, uh oh) I remember one night, When my boss came, You were told to fight right For the A-gen-cy So you left me, (Uh oh, uh, uh, uh, uh oh) But you flashed your ring, (Uh oh, uh, uh, uh, uh oh) And never turned to look back, But you knew that, I was still behind ya, As your right hand, But the signal, (do, do, do, do, do, do-do) Through the secrecy, (do, do, do, do, do, do-do) It led you to the front line of a battle, We were losing big time, But you kept cool, As we walked right past, To free up at last. “Sometimes, Life can be pretty hard; So to the ones that find this note, the code to this briefcase is the name of what lies inside. It is a symbol of a unity, friendship, and shared lives. It is a reminder to be understanding. To trust and to forgive. Please, only take as many as you need. And return the clues back to there former locations. Sincerely, "The Ring-bearer” One more time for the sake of God I swear, I’ll give the best I got I won’t let things keep(a) me down, Oh no~ No, One time for the sake of love, I know that I was strong enough, This life, This Soul, this was made for good, For gooood~ Yeah!
  6. Three of us from your discord are currently taking a stab at getting all of the lyrics down on a google doc, lol
  7. On an objective scale? Probably an 8.5/10 The rest of criminal idol ranges from 6-7.5 for me IMO, Great sounding music, but a surface level plot that didn't keep me interested for too long. Things are starting to pick up though and I can see the episodes from here on out to be filled with more important plot details that I admire so much in media. That's just me though of course, I'm a pretty critical critic and when I look at criminal idol I rate based on the quality of the story rather than the quality of the music. (If I were to rate just on the music, it would be in the 9s)
  8. Okay, im going to level with all of you, this song was absolutely amazing. It introduced different elements that I personally wanted to see from criminal idol, a more focused plot, and an emphasis on mystery. Ryan has blew me out of the water. It may be the best Criminal idol song to date. Please discuss the latest song in the comments. What do you think it is about? Did you like it as much as I did? Talk about it with me in the comments! ^^
